i would like some input on which bike ya'll prefer. i am buying a new '07 harley near the end of the month. i am looking at either a softail heritage classic or a road king. i am curious of how the ride feels between the two. i have been told that the road king has a much better ride at highway speeds compared to the heritage classic. any input would be appreciated. thank you

 

Personally, I prefer the Road King. For years, I wanted a Heritage, however, after some research, I chose the RKC. Very comfortable bike...especially on the highway.

I would suggest that you road test both bikes on all kinds of roads, including the highway. This will assist in making the right decision. Also, I would wait to see the reply's you receive on this forum. They have been helpful to me in a number of areas. You have a tough decision...good luck.

My recommendation is to check out Eaglerider.com and rent both bikes. Take them out for several hundred miles each. Then you can see which is best for you. That is what I am in the prcess of doing right now prior to the purchase of my new ride. Right now I am leaning towards the Touring class, probably the Street Glide. Good luck in your choice.
