I think that the glossy black will look great on your new scoot.

Glossy black will be sharp...I own a black car, you have to work a little harder to keep it spotless...but when it's cleaned up, she sure does look good!

Oh yeah, I had a black car too. I still want to see it on the other colors befre I decide! Black Cherry pearl or Cobalt blue could still win out. I saw cobalt blue on a Heritage this week. Pretty nice color, but I don't know if it works on this ride!

Welcome from LA,

I started on a Honda Ace also.. great bikes.

Are you going to keep the Honda or sell it when you get the HD?

I'll probably sell. It's a Suzuki Volusia, but they are VERY simiar! It's been pretty good to me for the 13 months I've had it. I've got just a bit under 8500 miles. I don't think I need two bikes though. If I was getting an all out tourer, like my fathers Ulra Classic, I'd keep it for shorter runs, but getting a Dyna, I think I can let her go!

Well, a reintroduction of sorts! I have barely posted on here, and in fact, ended up buying another Metric, which I've now had for almost two years, and 18,000 miles.

And now I'm ready to take the plunge for real this time! My present bike is great, but now that I'm more into long distance riding, I need an E-Glide, as opposed to the Street Bob I had considered before.

I'm planning on ordering an 08 E-Glide Classic, White Pearl and Peyter Pearl, sometime in January! I've already ventured back and read some of the ABS talk, and the ABS and other improvements for this model year really have me hooked!

Well, that and the fact my Father and I traded bikes for a week over the summer, and i found his 04 Ultra Classic to be quite different from what I expected! Then we took a ride last week and both of us demo'd an 08.

Now i think we are both going to be getting new rides! He will be getting another Ultra, and I'm just gonna do the Classic! I always ride solo, so the intercom and rear speakers aren't really needed, and my Dad took off the lower fairings and never put them back on!

Other than the cruise, which I can add later if I want to, would there be any other reasons I would regret not going the extra 2K or so for the Ultra??

Plus, I just really like the color combo! That is the color of the one I demo'd, and I really fell for it!

Anyway, I hope to read some good info on here, and hope to see ya on the road!
