New to Harley Davison (from Tri-Valley NorCal)
Hi all,
This is my first post. I am getting my M1 license to get a Harley for myself. Before I moved to U.S., I was riding a Japanese motorcycle (Honda 250-400cc street bikes) all my life since 16 yo for 18 years. That was 14 years ago, and I start over the whole thing from getting a license :-) This may sound funny but riding a Harley is one of my 'American Dream' things, and I am very much looking forward to it.
I went to Livermore HD which is the nearest dealer today to check out the rides. Do my fellow HD owners of SF Bay Area have any comments/insights on this shop (good/bad)?
I have not decided my ride yet, but me being 5'6" & 28" inseam, I am thinking Softail Slim which I confirmed I can flat-feet and vend my knee.

Thanks everyone welcoming me :-) I'm deciding my ride. One of the things I'm looking forward to is a frequent day trip to Yosemite, appx 260 miles round trip.
