New to Fairfax, VA

Hello, just purchased my first HD 2009 1200L Sportster in June and I am learning this bike. Always loved HD use to ride back in the late 80's and then a passenger ; however once my son starting riding (Kawasaki Ninja 650) yes, I its a nice bike.

I decided to get my licence and get a HD. Thanks to my son who is very patient with me, rides with me to learn the bike and the "do's & don'ts" .

I purchased the extended warranty at the time of purchase and I have 22 days to cancel. My son, who did research on this forum tells me to cancel because these bikes are reliable. So I am thinking of canceling ??? any thoughts

Congrats from the 270 corridor just on the other side of the Potomac.
I say no on the warranty. You may get better answers from a more specific section than the New Members area. Like the Sportster section for example.
Also, as much as we all want to see you in the rest of the forum often, you should check out the Queens of The Road section under This N' That. You'll likely get a lot out of the Ladies section.
Look forward to seeing you around the forum and maybe out on the road as well.
