FNG here from southern ohio
FNG here from southern ohio just popping in to introduce myself. not gonna lie, was seeking knowledge on the new bike is the reason for joining but figured id take advatage of it all.
Purchased a new 2014 street glide from AD. farrows of columbus. Ive had nothing but springers before but now that im getting a tad bit older ( mid 30's ) im wanting to do more traveling to go see military buddies etc.. and needed a more relaxing ride, more luggage space, and a radio. So i picked this one up.
I have put 500 miles on it since i bought it and already have to have service done to it. i have what i assume is fork oil ( red in color ) leaking down the Right front fork above the brake caliper coming from under the chrome trim of the fork. Leaking good enough that i thought that i better park it until i can get it in to get looked at. if it didnt have a warranty i would have already had the thing apart and back on the road already, but i honestly dont feel like turning a wrench on it if it has a 2 yr warranty.
But anyhow, been riding a while, done the whole club thing, said screw that. more drama than what it is worth. now i ride how i want, when i want, with whoever i want.
