Default Another Tire Thread :(

I hate to post this I really do... I searched a bit and MAY have found my answer... I have a 2006 FLHX with the stock tires, I need to replace them.

For sizes on the tire all I find are :

Front : MT90B16
Rear : MU85B16

Would the following tire sizes work?

Commander 2 Tires
Front : 130/90-16
Rear : 150/80-16

Yes they will work. Go to Dennis Kirk and read product details on each tire. It lists the #lb rating on both rear tires. I think you will find the 150 has a lesser rating. If you go this way, make sure you get the 150 in the reinforced version. You will also find Kirk will generally have the lowest tire prices, along with Jake Wilson. Before going with the Commander II's, you may want to look into the newly released Dunlop Elite 4 tire. It is designed to compete directly with the II's and the Metz 888's.

Thanks for the info Checkers, I'll give them a look for sure. I am hoping this one fix towards my wobble issue, have 17k on the stock tires.

Edit : Checked out prices, looks like the Commander 2's are a little cheaper. What would you recommend for a load rating? I've got the stock 06 FLHX with no tourpak... Load Rate C shouldn't be bad right?

Check the stock OEM max tire weight ratings and buy no less weight rating then OEM rating. I buy correct size tire and the reinforced tire for the rear with at least the lbs rating the Mfg says. The weight rating "code" does not come in to my decision.

My issue is that this is the follow information on the tires....

Front : MT90B16
Rear : MU85B16

After some searching here and on Google is how I got those tire sizes, I come from the street bike world so I ride fast and hard.

Which come with load ratings of around:

73/74 and
77 respectively.

Check your preferred tyre manufacturer's website before finalising your choice. You can confirm which models they recommend, also the load ratings, as I mention above.
