Hello All,
I just bought a 21 billet daddy sinister wheel for my 08 Street Glide. The shop recommended I go with a Vee rubber tire 120/70/21. They said it is the widest ww on the market for that size tire. I been looking at a Avon Cobra tire which looks *** if the ww is the same size so now I'm just left with which is the better tire. Any suggestions?
FWIW Avon Cobras are very highly rated in the UK. They are the only tyres made in the UK suitable for our damp climate and twisty roads with poor surfaces. Personally I think you can't do better!
You simply cannot compare Avon tires to V** R***** tires, IMO Avon makes the best tires for our bikes, they are what I run on both of my softies. The white wall portion on the Avon 120/70-21 is ~5/8".
