Default what rims will fit my 2008 xl883l off off any other harley

I have an 08 xl883l.the rear bearing on left side went out.bearing literally fell apart upon disassembly and I cannot get the pressed in outer part of bearing out of rim,so I guess I have to buy a used rim off of ebay.but, there are none which look good, which are specifically for my bike.can anyone tell me,what other years of rim will interchange with my bike.i see plenty of the 04 rims which are solid aluminum off of 1200 sportsters which I like.but unsure what differences I may encounter.dont wanna buy a rim I cant use.

check the sportster section...lots of swap threads in there....I know big twins are left side pulley an sporties are right side pulley so you would have to flip the wheel around. the earlier ones may have used a skinnier tire so I'd watch that but I did read were a guy used a dyna wheel to get a wider rear rim for a 180 conversion

Take the wheel to someone (or someone else)...they should be able to get that Outer Race out.

If that doesn't work out...
To use the 2000-04 Sportster Rear wheels (3/4" axle), you'll have to have the center axle/sleeve clearance hole enlarged.

You can use the 05-07 Sportster Rear wheels (had larger center hole) with a bearing shim (under the 25mm ID bearing...comes in installation kit)

You can use 08-later later Sportster wheels directly.

**Note: You can also use a 2002-07(08) Touring Rear Wheel with just the bearing change and shim

.

Its a headache but its possible to get the race out, try tapping the race out from the other side of the wheel.

I have a cheap bearing puller, but it won't pull wheel bearings out cold. Fortunately I have a couple of bike shops close by and they have much better equipment, so it is a breeze for them. So check your local shops/indies.
