Wheel swapping and bearing replacement

The OD of all three bearings the MoCo has used in recent years, 3/4", 1" and 25mm, are all the same and interchangeable. I used 1" bearings for fitting my Deuce wheel in my Glide, the same size as I believe your Dyna uses and they will fit into the bearing pockets in your Deuce wheel. I bought a H-D bearing kit, which came with 1" bearings and the correct bearing spacer.
It is likely that you will have to bore through your Deuce wheel, to increase the diameter of the central hole, to take the larger OD bearing spacer. Install the bearings as per your own FSM and you should be fine. The stock Duece tyre is wider than on most previous Harley wheels up to that time, so take care with clearances.
WARNING! The Deuce wheel is essentially a special and has a trick hidden up its sleeve. While your pulley and brake rotor will both bolt right on, they will expose holes into the interior of the wheel casting. There is a disc of shim steel available as an H-D part, which I recommend you install behind both pulley and rotor. These will keep out rain water from filling your wheel!
