Best month to buy new tires?
So its the season for winter projects and upgrades and I need some new tires. My question is for those of you who have bought tires over the winter. When did you buy (Jan, Feb, March, April). There are various sale promotions over the next few months. Will I get a better deal if I wait? I have a 2015 FLHXS, 15K, rear tire almost did not pass inspection last time so I have narrowed the decision down to Michelin Comander II’s and Dunlop American Elite. Now the only question is when to get them before spring.

Yup, I'd wait a couple months, unless you're riding all thru Winter. (I'm ona phone, so I can't see where you say you are.)
If you are in a place that inspects your bike, I'd move. I figured Cal would be the 1st State to mandate such foolishness. Glad I'm wrong on that. We have some goofy regs here, but bike inspection ain't one of 'em. But don't give Newson any ideas...
Might want to stock up on tires, if you ride a lot.
I get 5 at a shot. Go thru em in about 18-24 months.
Down to my last new front tire as I write this.
