Default Shinko 240 on early Twinkie?

I just put a Shinko 240 on my shovel, looking at the contact patch while upright im thinking it should last longer than a round tire of equal rubber. But I doubt they are equal compounds. Shinko is also rated 100 lbs less.
Anybody try these?

I have run Shinkos and they are very sticky but short life.

I think Shinkos are fine for the price on a light bike. If you really roll the miles though you can wear them out in a season on a heavy bike.
