02 road king rear rim ,,, help

Default 02 road king rear rim ,,, help

hoping someone can help me , 2002 road king i bought a new rim for the rear but i cant get it on my bike , measure the width from spacer to spacer and new wheel is 1/2 inch wider , and measured width between the swing arms and its 1/2 inch to small do i need to buy and 1/2 inch shorter spacer or do i need to buy 2 spacer each one a 1/4 inch shorter , or does this rim just not supose to go on my bike ? any help thank you

What type of wheels did u get? I put Ride Wright on my rear. The wheel came with a spacer that I did not / could not use. 01' king.

well i have the spoked stock wheels , the one i got i bought from an individual , its a spoked wheel but it is the spoked with black coating on rim and spokes are chrome , bur the new one with my spacers that came off my bike withch one side has 1/2 inch spacer other side has a 1 1/2 inch spacer , ew wheel with spacer is measuring 1/2 to wide to fit

the brake side has a 1/2 spacer that was on with stock wheel , so im wanting to kno if i just need to space it the right measurement and it will work or what , thanks for the help

stock wheel spacers on each side

new whell put my brake and sprocket on it

wheels have matching numbers stamped on them

swing arms

Default new wheel

new wheel looks same but with my spacers they measure 1/2 inch different , being the new wheel is 1/2 to wide

It looks like you probably have an 08-later softail wheel (which has a wider hub)

Have you tried putting your 1" axle in that wheel? Probably won't fit

yes it fits i havent tried to see if you mean does it come out the other side
