Nitrogen is used in later model vehicles because the moisture in compressed air will ruin the sensors in the tire for the pressure system. Nitrogen has very little moisture. But since I already own a nitrogen tank for work, I use it in my tires also.

All the 2011 model bikes i have seen on the showroom floors have had nitrogen in the tires. From what i understand they are inflated by harley and the dealer is getting them like that.

How do you know they have nitrogen in them?
