Anyone know the largest size tire that will fit on the stock wheel of an '08 Superglide and fit under the fender? I saw it once before, but cannot find it again.Time for a new one and I'd like to go bigger than the 100/90-19 that's on it.

 

I just went through trying to find a larger 19". One of the problems that I found was that the tire has to match to some degree the rear tire. So needless to say I looked pretty hard but I did not succeed in finding a proper front tire larger than the 100.

I though I was hitting paydirt when I found out that vrods use a 120 19" but they are radials. So if you want that tire on the front then its a matching tire on the rear so I lost interest.

I have thought about lacing up a 16 inch rim on the existing hub, there are some good tires in that size that I thing would be awesome.

None of this is just a simple tire swap unfortunately.
