1988 FLHTC front Wheel & Speedo
I have the front wheel off a 1988 FLHTC.
It is the 16 spoke, black mag.
How was the speedometer hooked up on this motorcycle?
Was it mechanical or electronic?

It's mechanical, with the drive unit serving as a spacer on the axle, on the left side. There is a small slot in the centre of the brake rotor that engages a drive dog on the speedo drive unit.
