Question Michelin Commander II's or Pirelli Night Dragon's?

I am looking for a better handling and stickier tire for my '12 1200C in the stock 130/90 and 150/80 sizes. I do not like the Michelin Scorchers on it at all. I have narrowed my choices down to the Commander II's and Night Dragon's. Are the Commander II's going to be much better than the Scorchers on it now? Tread longevity is a non-issue as I am willing to trade cornering prowess for tread life.

I've run those sizes for several years on my Glide, but Avons. They have recently introduced Cobras for our Harleys, so take a look at them as an alternative!

I have had the commanders on my sportster for two years and liked them so much just put a set on my Electra Glide. The commanders will be a great choice

I put the Night Dragons on last summer, they make quite a difference. The bike is much more stable in the rain and takes the heat well, ran them through Death Valley this summer, two trips from Seattle to San Diego and Sturgis this year. No sign of wearing out soon. I'll be putting the on the Fat Bob as soon as I wear the stocks down.

If you hit the curves pretty hard the dual and triple compound tires will wear on the sides alot faster.

I run a pretty sticky tire and it wears even all the way around and guys who ride with me with dual compound tires wear out the sides quicker than the center.

If you mostly straight line it and never go into curves hard they will be fine, from what I am starting to see on sportsters is the guys who ride them tend to be more aggressive. In that case the sides that are softer still wear out quick and the center wears slower. Makes for some odd looking wear and a funky ride.

Just an observation I have made watching aggressive sporty riders with these kinds of tires.
