The female port here is the fluid supply to the abs module, and the male end is where the master cylinder line goes.

The two blocks use the same bolt to secure to the triple tree. And as customer service worded it, they "puzzle piece" together.

Obviously the two lines here go to the calipers, then the female port is for the fluid coming out of the abs module.
