Honestly, I've never really been into fatboys until i saw this one in 100th anniversary paint. Clearly in changed my perspective, since it's mine now.

I think the added black looks good when it's in the right place. Id like black mustache crash bar in the future as well.

Spray can black, gold in the little holes, polished the lip with a buffing compound. I spray them with pledge and whipe with a lint free cloth. The oil in the pledge leaves a slim layer of protection from dust, oxidation and helps repel any dirt that sticks.

I did the brake discs as well. Easy enough to pull the wheels off and repolish annually.

My softail did this today. Get away seat sniffers, thats my lady. She had a professional photographer do the shots. I just snapped this while waiting. Tire paint just dried on the pipe side. Ill work tranny side tomorrow. Still hoping the economy turns around soon so i can afford to buy a small fairing and have it painted to match. This fatboy might start to get a sporty appearance with a nice little fairing. And then of course, more go fast goodies.

First shot at a custom air filter decoration. Its a bit rough, I think I can improve it if I make another. I do appreciate a nice 100th model so im adding little bits of customization here and there that compliments what the bike already is. Lots of chrome, black and silver.

Purchased what i was told was an old kerker supertrapp, turns out otherwise. Ive been told this is actually a white brothers e-series. I disassembled it, took the old packing out. Removed my vance and hines big shots. Stuck this on. Now im gonna redo the packing and clean the baffles. Im short the bracke though. If anyone has a bracket for either white brothers or supertrapp kerker, let me know.

And a knuckle. Bought a soldering iron at home depot. I figured in may as well try it. Its also leaving me waiting more then burning. Gotta find a decent unit.

And an evolution. Maybe a twin cam and panhead tommorow. Ive got a big piece planned and rough drawn. Im going to do "the last supper" with a bit of a twist using a knot as jesus head. Im hoping to achieve a kinda psychedelic look with it. Ill likely wait till ive got a half god-damn decent burner for that one. This other unit sucks.

At this point my burner is dead. Ill have to entertain myself with wood stains untill i do more burning. Im pretty happy with this set! Ill post pics when they are in finished state as well.

I found some literature about diffuser plates and quickly came to the thought that i MAY not have enough discs. I made a thread in the want to buy section to search for extra plates but so far have not had a reply. So to make up for the discs i dont have, i got clever and increased the spacing with washers. Not perfect but its a place to start from. Weather tommorow should be nicer so i can play around a little. Maybe i wont need washers at all and can get away with just 12 discs.
