I picked up this HD 1/4 faring off Craig'slist for 200 with the brackets. It mounted up with the stock headlight visor. The wind break is a welcome change on the freeway

Yeah. ..that's the wrong pipe. The one the the rear cylinder goes around the cam cover is for the true mids. The forward mids on the FXDL have to run the rear cylinder behind. ...I'm guessing this all happened early in the 2014 FXDL release. ...no one knew

2000 mile update. ..Bassani, fp3, K&N, progressive 970 shocks, progressive front springs, super bike bars, H-D 1/4 , la pera seat, I couldn't be happier with her. A great bike from the factory but set up properly. ..fucking amazing.

Here's another option. I have Ohlins on the sportster and 970's on the lowrider. The Ohlins were much harder to find a deal on (1199.00) The 970's were 774.00 .Both are great and work very well. The progressive are hard to beat with the lifetime warranty and price. The Ohlins has more adjustment with rebound and compression.

I'm selling my Sportster . It's a 2001 Sportster 1200 S .2800 orig miles ...the list is long...mukuni hsr carb ,S cams ,dual plug heads,supertrapp full exhaust. Ohlins rear suspension, race tech gold valves and springs up front in adj. Showa forks. PM 6 pot calipers and lyndall carbon rotors front and back , steel braided lines front and back. (6k in brakes and suspension ), PM grips and pegs,Corbin seat, fork brace, 1 5/8 pro taper tracker bars with 2" risers. Very nice and very fast..8250 obo
