2007 XL1200L, 4.5 Gallon tank, Sundowner seat, Tall Harley sissy bar with a Backrest pad, Mini apes, Screaming Eagle exhaust, Screaming Eagle intake, Screaming Eagle Clutch. Loaded up with a tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, chair, luggage, 110' electrical extension chord. On a trip from Rancho Cucamonga, California, to Washington DC with R.F.T.W. to connect with Rolling Thunder over Memorial Day weekend. This Sportster currently has over 80,000 trouble free miles on her.

1977 XLCR CR1000 Ironhead Sportster Cafě Racer. This is my first Harley. One from the very first 250 made, from about, more or less, 3,000 or so total produced between 1977 and 1978. There were about 18 or so SOLD in 1979, but they were 1978 models with the 1979 "Ham can" air cleaner cover on them. I installed an oil filter inline, from the Lockhart oil cooler, as there wasn't an oil filter supplied from the factory. 2007 XL883. I added an RB Racing 2 into 1 exhaust, and a Screaming Eagle high flow intake. I changed the Transmission pulley to a 30 tooth unit so at 80 mhp, the RPMs are at about 4,000. I added a Tachometer, as well as a Sundowner seat, and a padded, passenger backrest bar from Harley Davidson. I added Ricor Intimidators in the front fork tubes, and heavier fork oil. I picked the fork bag at Sturgis, South Dakota.

2009 XR1200. One of only 750. Acording to my paperwork, mine is supposed to be the very first one sold in Southern California. All my manuals are half in French, and half in English. After it was delivered, my Harley Davidson dealer asked me to please leave the bike at the dealership for a week so that people could see it, as no one else even had one on the floor to look at.

It wasn't quite as brisk as this when I parked my 2007 XL1200L last night in Williams, AZ. I was heading back home from Albuquerque, New Mexico and had stopped for the night. I should have pressed on to Laughlin, Nevada instead. ;^) H.O.G. H.O.T.

2007 XL1200L Just a little shopping at Costco. When I pushed my full cart up to my motorcycle, I overheard two guys saying that there was no way that I could get all my stuff on my motorcycle. I bet them each $10.00 and I made an easy $20.00 on that bet. ;^)
