might be hard to tell from this photo, but i extended the pods beyond the pak and wrapped them around the front corner

also added a 4th bolt and weld nut to the upper corner od the pod. there will also be a plate on the inside of the pack to act as a large "washer" tieing all 4 bolts together. 3M double sided tape will be applied between the pods and the pak. should have a couple more pics later tday. i also tacked up a "dummy speaker" from a round disc to make sure i was maintaining proper spacing for magnet

one assembled and welded. leave outside corners open for a full penetration weld. no worries when grinding the corners to a radius

partially sanded. DA sander next the perhaps a little filler before it goes to paint. next pic will be of them still unpainted, but mounted to pak. you will notice how much room i gained in the space between the pods compared to other pre-Rushmore baggers

perhaps i found a "niche" in the market? i built these pods outta sheet metal and lined them with dynamat. perfect fit. wrapped them around the front corner of tourpak and set them probly 3 " wider than stock pods and about an inch wider than the rushmores cuz my babys butt is well rounded
