I posted this in another forum last night and should have done it here i think. Im headed out today to get some sealer for the inside of the tank today and was wandering if all brands are the same? Instructions also call for having it pressure checked. Do most shops have the ability to check the pressure or any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any imput. I may just clearcoat it until i can afford to have flatblack scallops on vivid black tank. By the looks of the seam rrattle can will show se

Well i started my wire tuck, ignition and coil relocation this evening but didn't finish. I couldnt find my tape or zipties. Imagine that! But i set my tank to check out how she would fit and i like it. I have a question though. Directions say to seal the tank which i will, but it says to have it pressure checked also. Where can i have it pressure checked at? Oh, just noticed the reflector on the back. Its gotta go.

I love my 48. I just purchases a 3.3 gallon tank to fix the only issue i have with mine. Some long stretches of east tn, i found myself having to carry a can of gas. I stayed with the peanut shaped tank also. Each to their own.

Just ordered a 3.3 gallon tank for my 48. It was my Christmas present from my wife. Won't have to fill up every time i pass a station now! Can't wait to get healed up enough to start putting everything on her as it comes in.

I keep the heat on in the shop (68 degrees), was planning on still riding but need to wait till i can bear some weight on my busted leg. Probably be around March.

I bought a Vintage Wide Touring seat and my wife loves me. Lol... I have to say, for trips, it was worth the sacrifice of looks. It feels great. I sit a little higher in the saddle than i like but.... Great seat Mustang!!
