I really enjoyed riding this motorcycle… 100 Hp, & 60 mph in first gear made it a fun bike… It was good on the street and it was good in the dirt… Just didn’t have the long front suspension that my buddies GS has had… so I sold it and bought a GS… Thinking I could keep up with Don… Lol… Couldn’t keep up with him no matter what I was riding…

… I was heading up to Mount Baker, which is just south of Cranbrook… But turned around here because I did not have a tire repair kit and it was late in the afternoon… And there was nobody else on the mountain… and I did not want to hike out the 10 miles if I had a problem…

For those that have never done it highway 20 in Washington state from just north of Spokane all the way to the coast is a Bucket List Rd.… Nice and twisty… A couple of beautiful mountain passes… And sweet little towns like Winthrop… The bit through the Cascades is particularly worthy…
