Got the bike all packed and ready to roll the night before my trip…..everything packed really nicely and rode incredibly well down and back. Cruzer Roll Bag worked out well for me – held 5 days worth of stuff including a gross of beads.

Made really good time on the bike….even though I had to pull over about every hour due to that stock seat numbing my butt pretty badly. I was able to do about 80mph into a slight headwind the whole way down.

I met a great group of people on the ROT website message board and they held a spot for me to camp in behind the Paradise Bar….. I got there by around 1pm – 2pm….six hours. So, there was hardly anybody there yet. I was super excited to be back in Austin!

Devil’s Backbone outside of San Marcos on the way out to Luckenbach…..nice stretch of road. It was a relaxing ride after my mad dash down I 35 the day before. Ended up being about a 200 mile loop – so, it was a pretty decent road trip.

Luckenbach! I wasn’t aware that it was such a biker mecca…. I had a nice rest there and then it was on to the Salt Lick! Damn good BBQ!
