Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
First big bike. Almost didn't want to buy it from the previous owner, he had the bike for 27 years and I could tell it was hard for him to sell. He was out of work and low on cash so he assured me that his decision was final. Cleaned up the whole bike and took a couple trips up NH on I-93 to Stewartstown and Colebrook. Later on I replaced the timing belts, gaskets, and adjusted the valves. Now off to college, and currently awaiting news on a Sportster to see if I have to sell this one.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
When I got it home I took off the fairing and hard bags and re-wired the original headlight loom, stole the front signals and headlight lens from a CB500 project I had at the time, installed the crash bars, removed the two backrests from the seat, removed the "custom" double risers, and replaced the original chrome front fender with one from a GL1100.
