1986 Harley FXRD that had been so abused that I took it down to the ground and started over.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Balanced, HeadQuarters 0023 cam, Mikuni HS40 Carb, Single Fire Ignition, Drive Train either re-chromed or powdercoated blue, braided aircraft lines and fittings throughout, all stainless hardware, heads ported/flowed, more stuff than I can recall now.

Suspension Modifications:
Fournales shocks, FLH/Works wide glide and tin

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
FXSTC disc rear, FLSTC wire spoke front, stainless drilled rotors, GMA brake calipers, Avon meats

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Powdercoated frame and swingarm, billet taillight mount, CCI rear fender, 3-light dash, John Pederson (Hot Bike cover & lots of show winners) paint, custom cobra seat, Ness fender struts, side covers, kickstand and signals, more billet BS than was needed. A true study in excess.

1982 FXRS. Was a mess when I bought it, but it had an S&S 93-inch stroker. I put a 39mm wide glide conversion on it, a swap meet seat, new wheels, Cycle Shack pipes, a new headlight, tacked some emblem mounts on the tank, powder coated the tin, and rattle-canned some Ness side covers, and I got all sorts of compliments. Sold it for megabux.

1985 Low Glide FXRS. My very first FXR....Love at first sight. Rode home in the pouring-ass rain. Leathers weighed about 50 pounds when I got home and I had a grin that didn't come off for a week 8^)

A fill-in bike I bought with the (insufficient) insurance money received when my FXRT was stolen. Didn't keep it long...I was spoiled.

My 3 week old son and I on my brand new '90 FXRT - June '90. The bike was stolen four months later.

I bought this FXRD in January '93 long distance, sight unseen, from Barnett H-D, based on the word of Sherman Barnett that it was "like a new bike". It WAS like a new bike because it had wheels, I guess. It arrived late, and it was all down hill from there. Over the next year I tried to get them to make it right, but ultimately no luck. I wound up doing it all myself, along with a friend. Sure learned a lot, tho.
