Bought in 2001 from a local junkyard for parts, for about $50.00. Brought her home, adjusted the timing, gave her some fresh gas and she fired up after about 5 kicks. There was no seat, headlight or exhaust. The starter was also missing, so I decided to build her up as a cafe racer.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
38hp cam (original export cam for this model was rated at 27hp), 17/ 35 sprockets o-ring chain
Suspension Modifications:
wilburs fork springs, koni rear shocks, rear swing arm bushings replaced with needle bearings
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
tomaselli clip-on handlebars, self made single seat with aluminum rear fairing. batteries 2x Yuasa YP2-12, all electrics hidden under the rear fairing
Future Modifications:
clean up the wiring harness
