Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Always wanted a 67-72 GM Truck when I was in high school; finally got one about 5-6 years ago!
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
To my knowledge only the engine isn't stock. According to the truck's VIN, the original engine was a 327. According the the numbers on the back of the engine block, it now has a 400 small block out of a 74 Chevelle.
Other than an Edlebrock intake, Edlebrock Carb, Edlebrock Air Filter housing, ACCEL HEI Distributor, Unknown long tube headers and mufflers, and Edlebrock chrome valve covers, I do not know if any of the engine internals are modified. I doubt it.
Suspension Modifications:
None that I am aware of. Fun fact for those of you who like these trucks:
Chevy trucks of this body style had the "trailing rear arm" design rear suspension. GMC trucks came stock with standard leaf springs in the rear however. I was unaware of this until I acquired this truck.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Ultra 15" X 8" aluminum wheels.
Winston Winner 275 X 60 X 15 White Letter Tires.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Rear roll pan
Aftermarket chrome wheel well molds
Rhino Lined bed interior and bed rails.
Non Sealed beam quad headlights with Silverstar Bulbs
Custom interior including seat cover, door panels, dash pad, and visors.
Aftermarket radio (fit to dash, dash is NOT cut)
Wood grained steering wheel
Future Modifications:
In the process of redoing the "custom" interior. I will be changing back to a much closer to original interior. Otherwise other than maintenance items, nothing! Again, I like this truck the way it is! Read more ยป
