Shes looking as original as i can get her back to stock ! The OEM NOS Air Cleaner is compleat with OEM original Carb mounting brackets ! as soon as the clutch hub bearing get her ill finish her up. Today marks exactly 3 week sense i got her !

Clutch hub bearing fail ! I got lucky there's no other damage to the inner & outter clutch hub, glad i didnt take any test rides could have caused a lot of damage ! New bearing is on the way, could take a week or 2 !

Here you can see the tras main seal is completly dry ! Thats great news ! I just had to clean up the oiley mess & the belt pulley . . .

Here you can see the chrome oil tank has been replaced with the correct 83 & later black oil tank, i have a drip pan under the bike because i think the trans main seal is leaking, next will be to pull the outer & inner Primary !

Here you can see the oil lines are really looking pretty sad ! They're not even all the same type ! The top line in this photo is the rear brake line that was replaced with an OEM NOS brake line.along with a new brake light switch .

I took the right side tank off to do a couple of things first i wanted to check out the wiring harness, i also wanted to clean up the rocker boxes i also installedan original choke control becaus i will be replacing the Scremin Eagle carb with an original Keihin Butterfly Carb

Here the result of a little TLC & fresh rubber fuel line. This machine was running very poorly, like running on one cylinder so i tested for air leak by spaying the manifold with break cleaner & the motor died ! So the next step was to remove the carb compleatly & check the compliance fittings !

Here you can see i took the right side tank off yo do a couple of things, first to chek out the wiring harness, turned out to be ingood condition i also wanted to change the Ape hanger length throttel cable, the rocker boxes need a good cleaning, check out the fuel filter with braded steel lines ! (Total Custom hey)
