I'm not trying to lower compression, my compression is 198 on both cylinders with -7.2cc pistons and the 54's. The cylinders were decked .014" for 0.00" piston height and a .030" gasket installed.

No, I didn't make any mistakes, those numbers are 100% correct.

The bike will start up and run quiet, after about 1 mile I get what sounds like valve noise (been chasing that for a few months). The noise happens at 1850 rpm and is gone at 2200, it comes back at about 2400.

IT IS NOT ROCKER SHAFTS
