I have a Honda Pacific Coast. I've never even considered trying to run a car tire on it. there's not that much room under there and bike tires are not too expensive (if you run 140 -90-15 instead).

I'm not trying to lower compression, my compression is 198 on both cylinders with -7.2cc pistons and the 54's. The cylinders were decked .014" for 0.00" piston height and a .030" gasket installed. No, I didn't make any mistakes, those numbers are 100% correct. The bike will start up and run quiet, after about 1 mile I get what sounds like valve noise (been chasing that for a few months). The noise happens at 1850 rpm and is gone at 2200, it comes back at about 2400. IT IS NOT ROCKER SHAFTS

It's also not lifters or loose piston fit. There is no play at the piston pin or connecting rod. It would seem to me that the piston crown is expanding when hot and using up the .030" squish clearance. ???? I have .040" gaskets ordered to try out
