First of all I've never ran ohlins so i cant speak on those, second, I'm no shock expert. I put the 13 inch RWD on my 19 cvo sg and I absolutely love everything about them. I spoke directly with Russ on several occasions and I can say his customer service is outstanding! Like someone else said, any premuim brand shock is gonna be a huge improvement over stock

After narrowing down to Revo A's, Fox, and Russ Wernimont designs i went with the RWD RS-1's (13inch) huge improvement on my 2019 cvo sg and I am very happy! I left my front stock for now, bike is riding very nice so not sure I will even change it. Any good aftermarket shock is gonna be a nice upgrade over the poor stock suspension. Good luck to you sir!

Here is a pic of the tips, they are unbranded also, little dirty here but are a nice gloss black finish. I was gonna go the fullsac route but after hearing them they were just a little too tame for me. I am certain the fullsac will perform top notch, just wasnt the sound for me. Good luck with your decison sir!

The RWD mounts upright on all bikes except touring, they get mounted this way for saddle bag clearance. I narrowed my decsion down to the ones the OP asked about, legend, fox and then I found these and decided to go with them after speaking with Russ Wernimont, glad I did, they are awesome and their customer service is even better. Sorry OP, wasnt trying to highjack your thread, just answering the guy who asked about the RWD's.

Factory 47 12's, I still had the stock mirrors in this pic and yes, they were useless, I'm 6'2. I went with arlen ness mini ovals mounted on the bottom, small and sleek but I can see everything I need to see and no mouse ear look from the front. My opinion of course, others will vary.

I know we have gotten off topic, sorry OP, but I agree about the challenger being cheap and plasticky. I would buy this Yamaha Eluder over it, and thats not knocking the eluder because it is actually a very nice bike that I would ride without hesitation.

Just put 13 inch russ wernimont designs RS-1's on my bike. Rides so much better, no more shockwaves up the spine. Their customer support is top of the line also!

Not sure about the stockers but the RWD's I just put on had to be mounted upside down on touring bikes for bag clearance, seemed weird to me but I called RWD and they confirmed upside down was correct and has zero impact what so ever on performance.
