I had the same problem, so I decided to try both. I have about 1000 miles on each bike, a little more on the Heritage, since the wife rides it when she rides. I prefer the Heritage overall. It is a long term keeper for me. I will wait to see what next year brings and test that Harley guaranteed trade in value with the Fatboy if something new really grabs my attention.

I originally traded my dresser Road King for the 114 Black Heritage because no dealer would give me a good price on the Anniversary Heritage 114.After I bought it, one of the dealers I spoke to contacted me back to make the deal I wanted, so I traded in my wife’s 2012 Deluxe and got the Anniversary Heritage 114.Traded the black one for the FatBoy. Whe she rides with me, she takes the Heritage and I ride the Fat Boy. I put the bags back on the Heritage so when I need the storage it is available.

Added Willie G floorboards, brake, and clutch pedals. HD mustache bar engine guard, and a new black HD nacelle (the cover around the headlight). I really like the black nacelle, it flows better with the black paint visible from the side of the bike and the chrome headlight trim makes it pop.

Here is a better picture of the other side. I went with Rineharts and no heat shields on this one. They sound good, not quite as loud as the Tab Zombies on the 114, but much better than stock.

Here is a shot in the garage of the other side of the Anniversary stripped down. I went with Rineharts on this one. The swing arm bag is a Harley Davidson from the dealership. I was at Destination Daytona yesterday and looked at a few others in JP Cyces but ended up liking the size and shape of the Harley bag the best.
