My Sun had not the means of keeping this and no purpose in it went to Copart, the motor transmission, LS and a five speed 600 tremec could’ve been yanked out, but he collected all on it.

Cleaned all the drippings, turns over with compression and pumps oil out.

I think it would do it justice by bringing it back to what it looked like before the fire. It would be easier to roughly scour all of it and coat but I really should put the extra effort into it.

Burned all over. I’m considering keeping it and rebuilding it again although it’ll be difficult to find original parts and all to make it what it was. Since it’s so scorched and all the chrome is burned, I don’t know if it’s worthwhile to do. Has anyone had an experience of dealing with this?

My son was working on his 69 Camaro on the inner rocker up near the passenger side floorboard using a plasma cutter and when he came into the house he said later all was clear out there and within minutes, I saw smoke. It was too late. A fuel fire of the car caught fire everywhere in the garage.

This car I had restored in 08 for my oldest son. He’s been fixing it up since it was a very nice looking car later a 5.3 LS motor and five speed tranny went in. Just put new wheels and tires on it.

Has anyone had experience with restoring a burned up motorcycle? I haven’t but I’m thinking of rebuilding it. I don’t think I’ll be able to acquire everything to make it original again, had only 45,000.

This is a 72 FLH, has 45,000 on it, was my father’s ever since 72 just gave it to me last year and kept it original and always bought Harley parts and tires and such but started a rattle some kind of knock so right now I’ve taken it out keeping the motor, bought an Ultima Shovelhead motor 96 in.³ and want to use it until I go through the original motor. I was debating on that.
