Starring Role

Though it's obviously a bit silly and over the top, the Fast & Furious movie franchise has also attracted a pretty rabid crowd of fans for many of those same reasons. It's also one of the longer-running movie franchises out there with the latest installment - Fast X - set to hit theaters in May. Recently, however, we were treated to a trailer for the movie, revealing quite a few details about it - as well as showing us Jason Momoa riding his Harley-Davidson Pan America in the film.

Connecting the Dots

As many are already aware, Momoa has been a Harley fan his entire life, having originally owned a 1957 Panhead years ago. He also worked with Harley on the Pan America launch a couple of years ago and has since served as a spokesperson for the brand, who even got his own line of apparel. Thus, it makes quite a bit of sense that his character in this new film might also ride the same exact bike that he once shilled for.

Stripped Down

As one would expect, this movie-bound Pan America 1250 isn't stock by any means, either. Instead, it's been jazzed up with the removal of much of its stock bodywork, including the fenders, windshield, and radiator shrouds, with a simple Harley logo on the tank and nothing else - a perfectly simple look for this villain's ride.

Looks and Speed

An updated LED headlight and black paint, along with a 2-in-1 exhaust system with maroon heat tape rounds out this look, which is pretty sinister and unique all at the same time. It has a little bit of Bronx Streetfighter to it, and removing much of that unnecessary bodywork is certain to make it quite fun to ride, too.

Pure Entertainment

Overall, it's a nice addition to a franchise that's just as much about cars as the actors themselves, though we've seen a motorcycle or two thrown in over the years - as well as planes, helicopters, tanks, and pretty much everything else. Fast X may not win any awards for story writing or fine acting - but it will likely at least prove entertaining in a silly kind of way.
