Unique Ride

We've featured our fair share of custom builds from Germany's Thunderbike over the years, but it never ceases to impress us just how diverse these creations are. Each bike that the builder churns out is vastly different from the last and often built to customer specifications. The latest is this Harley Breakout dubbed Razor 2.0, which is equal parts looker and a bike that seems like it would be incredibly fun to get in the wind.

Finding Inspiration

For this build, Thunderbike looked to another one of its Breakout creations - a bike dubbed Razorback - for inspiration. The builder's goal here was to take the fairly round Harley and give it some sharper, stretched lines with a little extra emphasis on sportiness. Needless to say, they accomplished that goal with no problem.

Adding Sportiness

Thunderbike took the Razorback's already sporty appearance to the next level with its GP Style Series triple clamps and stub handlebars, then stuffed it with an air ride suspension kit to slam the bike on the ground when it's time to show off. It also emphasizes the girth of the 260 series Metzler rear tire, which adds a bit of muscle to the Breakout.

Stunning Contrast

One of the highlights of this build is its stunning paintwork, however, which is accented by a four-color scheme dreamed up by Chiko's Pinstriping. Much of the bike was powder-coated black, including the engine cover and fork, to give it a dark base before all of the color was added, which provides a wicked contrast.

Ramped Up

No Thunderbike build would be complete without some performance upgrades, and Razor 2.0 has several of those as well. They consist of a Screamin' Eagle Stage II Torque Kit, Thunderbike's Grand Prix exhaust system, and a Heavy Breather performance air filter to help ramp up the Breakout's already impressive output.

Bits and Pieces

Rounding out this attractive package are a GP-Style rear fender, tank, and chin fairing, relocated license plate and ignition coil, Thunderbike's custom Breakout front fender, LED turn signals, rear and front axle cover kits, and about a thousand other little bits and pieces that combine to make one cool custom Harley.

Another One

Add it all together, and Razor 2.0 is yet another stellar creation from the masters at Thunderbike. This crew never ceases to amaze us with what they can come up with, and once again, that's a bike that is truly unique despite the fact that it's based on another existing build.
