Default Tour Pak alternatives

Got a backrest for mama on the SG, but it won't be enough when we get on longer rides. I've checked out the HD Tour Paks, but when all is said and done I'll have to put another $1200 or so for one. Now I realize HD stuff ain't cheap, but I can't justify $1200 for something that will be hanging on the wall most of the time.

Anyone out there have a suggestion for a good aftermarket pak? Don't need speakers, but I would like to have a decent backrest with it.

Feedback appreciated...

Rick

Thanks guys - they look like a decent option. Now, I gotta find a good source for Crimson Red Sunglo paint!

You can get new off brands and knockoffs on ebaymotors.Anywhere from a$100-$300, and the real thing from $500-$1200. I bought mine for $750, two years ago. Had detachable rack, luggage rack and backrest and great shape

I've got a Mutazu tour-pak monted on a Milwaukee Baggers detachable tour-pak rak http://www.milwaukeebagger.com/images/DSC07947.jpg. It uses just the front deatchable (backrest) docking points and makes for a nice clean rear fender when not in use. Spent less than $600 for everything...I'm happy when I've got a lot of sh*t to carry and mama's happy when she comes along. :-)
