Default radio shack siren

Just did this mod and it was super easy! Why spend $80 something for Harley's siren when you can buy this one for $6. All you do is buy the (273-079 12 VDC Piezo Siren) from Radio shack; come home take off the left cover ( main circuity cover),remove the seat, remove both tork bolts, remove the allen head screw inside the cover (in the middle under the main plug), then right behind the box is the plug you need. It will have a cover on it, but if you pull the sheeth back, you will see the wire you need. They are black, brown, and green. I put took the cap off and put the wires in the connectors and then put the cap back on. It holds the wire in place and then I taped the cap with electric tape. Then I put the plug and the siren back behind the box in the open space and reinstalled the box. Ops check good!!! It makes a garbled sound when alarming and disarming bike, but when you shake the bike it has a loud chirp, and if you set the alarm off it is an ear killer, and I'm sure the bike will get some attention. By the time some dipshit could kill it, there would be a lot of attention on him. Learned this from my father-in-law whorides a geezer glide. So if you need more info or just do not like my instructions, look in the touring section or do a search. My bike is a 2006 Street Bob. Sorry the pics are shitty, but they where with my cell.

Is it a complete alarm kit or just the siren? Did you have an existing alarm already on the bike?
I have been thinking of installing an alarm on mine lately because I didn't feel the price for the factory one was fair or reasonable. I am a do it yourselfer and figured I could get one for far less money that is much better than the HDfactory one later and install it myself and save a bundle and have a better set up anyway.
