Tweeters and effect on Impedance
My Hawgwired tweeters are designed to be connected in parallel with the speakers, but doesn't that change the Impedance the amp sees?
The tweeters are rated 4 Ohms so if I was using 4 Ohm speakers, then the amp would see 2 Ohms, correct?
But my speakers are 5.75 Ohms so what Impedance does the amp see? I'm thinking it would be under 2 Ohms which is not good.
Same question with 2 Ohm speakers...

This is true only if your using a 1st,2nd,3rd or 4th order passive crossover. If your running a co ax speaker and run a tweeter wired in parallel or series with just a capacitor on the tweeter, you'll have to calculate the two speakers ohms together to determin the the total ohm load.
