Initially I was thinking about keeping the stock head unit, but the extras you get with aftermarket head units like Bluetooth, Spotify, Pandora, and the additional adjustments and settings, convinced me to go for it, especially with the hand controls that are talking to the head unit.

Before cutting the corners of the tray, it was slightly touching the outer fairing, I stick paper mask tape on the inside of the fairing, attach it and loose tight the screws, remove it to see some scratches on the tape on the right side. I cut the corners and now it doesn't hit and the fairing goes on and attaches smoothly.

I'll be attaching the fairing for the coming Friday but will take it off again to install the Hawg Wired speaker grills.

Hoping you could provide the specs on this aluminum tray. I'm installing the same amp on my 2008 Streetglide and need to make one.

Thanks in advance!

This amp tray is not on a Rushmore bike. You can cut your stock tray to make it fit.

I got an amp tray off eBay for ~$40. It worked great.
