Default Biketronic 2014 7.1's and their line leveler

Took advantage of the recent Biketronic speaker sale and ordered a set of their 7.1's with the mounting brackets and their line leveler. I have to see for myself what you guys have been raving about all this time! LOL! I will post an update after install. I may swap the magic box for their line leveler before swapping speakers and pods so I can compare the two with the Hertz HCX 165's. Going to stick with the Cerwin Vega B2.

It's a sickness....

Please do! I was thinking of trying their line leveler as well. I too have the magic box with a C-V B2 amp but I have Kappas.

Default It works...

I had the Magic Box with the BT2180 and 7.1's. Sounded horrible. Bill sent me his new line leveler and all I can say is WOW. What a difference. Now my system rocks, sounds great running at 80. I did add foam round rod between the speaker bracket and inner fairing which I think is also adding to the performance.

Next up, lower fairings with BT 6.5's.

Well I just placed an order for the BT line leveler. I hope I experience similar results! Mine sounds good now but I think it could sound better. We shall see!

Glad to hear that, I'll be doing the exact same setup. Did you keep the stock cloth grills?

Yes still have the stock grills for now. I am very satisfied with the set up.

That was a little trick I posted a while back, there was a 1/2 inch gap between the speaker brackets and the fairing.
I wanted to isolate the front of the speaker from the air coming from the rear speaker to see if it made a difference
in sound and it did. I used 5/8 foam backer rod from ace to fill the gap.

I saw that post and I am now reminded that I've been meaning to ask how you adhered the backer rod and whether you did so to the inner fairing or to the speaker brackets.
