Default KDC-X998 and RZ4-3000D settings question?

The amp has HPF FLAT LPF FROM 35 TO 250 crossover. The HU has cross over settings as well. Should I set the amp to 250 and control it from the HU or vise a versa. This is a little over my head. Love to play with it but also want to get the best sound as well. BT titans in front. 6.75 kickers in the rear thanks.

Set the amp to flat and control it with the HU. It's much more precise that way. Set your HPF to 80 and Slope 1.

set the amp to full pass and adjust your HPF's on your radio crossovers.

I'd try about 80hz at -6db for each and see how it sounds. If too much bass try -12db. This should get you close.

You will find a few more setting for the X998 in this thread that you may find useful.

Just want to say thanks to all the people who help with this stuff. I guess by nature I can't stop myself from messing with things. If it an't broke don't fix it. Simply does not apply. Will keep pressing for more. Third upgrade in less than a year. I am always looking for an edge. I turned on the stereo and the front speakers only worked! The bluetooth setup had a front rear or both setting. Wow. The HD radio is really clear. I will use the settings on this site to tweak and play with the sound. Added splash cover and vapor bearer. It's all good. Thanks again.
