Strange static issue when braking

Default Strange static issue when braking
I have a 2010 Road Glide with a stock head unit, and new JBL 6.5" speakers earlier this year. Everything was working well for 3 months after installing the speakers. All of a sudden, lately I get static from FM radio, only while pressing the rear brake. If I use just the front brake, no issue, only when pressing the rear brake.


Anybody seen anything like this before. I am not sure where to even start.

do you have a custom dynamics rear brake light controller?

No, standard brake light controller.

unplug it and see if the problem goes away.
