Brake light makes Radio cut out!
I have a 90 FLHTCU and took the bike out for the first real ride of the season. When I come to a stop using both the front and rear brakes the radio will cut out until I let go of either the front or rear brakes. The rear brakes will illuminate the brake light but not the front. I checked the front brake switch and when I have the rear brake depressed I get power at the front brake switch. I have looked thru my manual and am at a loss. Any help would be much appreciated. Old thread but same thing here. 1990 FLHTCU. When I apply the front brake the radio turns off. When I release the front brake the radio comes back on. This only occurs with the front brake.
Also... my radio has static coming out of all 4 speakers when it is off. The CB isn't on either.
Anybody experience this???
