Default Radio Static

Just got the stock radio on my 86 FXRD up and running. Radio plays alright except for some momentary stactic when I use the rear brake. It appears to be caused by activation of the brake light. Does not do it when the front brake only is used. Any clues?

Check the ground....check the ground on the brake, check the antenna make sure it's not worn through. Somewhere you have a ground problem check all the wires, look for any signs of wear. Let us know what you find.

Louder pipes should cure the problem
