Just finishing up the amp install, going to set the gains, question is: where should I be setting the x-over, the amp has 3 settings, HP80Hz,LP80Hz,or F ? which one ?

there are those that will disagree with me on this but I get a MUCH fuller sound setting the x-overs at F.

 

Some people recommend using the high pass setting to reduce distortion at extremely high volumes. I tried that but felt I lost too much bass, so I've got mine set on FULL.

 

I also tried hp and was not impressed with the quality!

 

Using the HP setting only works with an amp that allows adjustable HP frequencies. The fixed 80hz HP on the Soundstream is a bit too high, blocking too much bass. I wouldn't run in HP unless the frequency can be set at 50hz or lower, stick with full range on the Soundstream.
