Default amp secured with velcro

hello fellow mcy enthusiasts

i want to secure a soundstream 4.25 amp to the top of scotts ezzell's bracket. I saw one guy welded angle iron to the bracket to screw down the amp. I don't have the ability to weld.

will using industrial strength velcro to the top of the bracket be enough to safely secure the amp? Will heat break down the adhesive on the velcro?

any and all suggests would be helpful

thnx

Industrial strength Velcro will hold. I had the same setup you're looking at and had it installed with Velcro. It will hold.

Velcro is perfectly fine. It's not going anywhere inside that fairing.

Another plus for the Velcro. That amp will be so snug as it is it isn't going anywhere.
