Re-location bracket modified for SS Amp
In keeping the HK Head and using Scotts Re-Location bracket. Here is what i did to secure the Sounstream 4.520 amp to the bracket. I used 2 pieces of 3/4" angle iron cut 1" long. 1 piece 1/8" x 1" cut to the length of the amp(from tab to tab). The angle is welded flush to the front edge of the riser on the bracket. This position allows the amp to sit far enough back so there will be plenty of clearance with the fairing. Once i welded the angle on, i set the amp on top to position the rear piece of flat stock. Clamp and weld. set amp back on, mark the hole locations. Remove amp and drill holes. touch up with some black paint.
