Default Speaker/Fairing support brackret removal question

Can the stock speaker support brackets in the FLH fairing be removed without any issues?

There are two small metal support brackets that run from the fairing/radio mount to the speakers on each side, and I want to mount a Hawgwired amp mounting plate on one side and the bracket is in the way. On their web site, it shows the bracket is removed for the installation of the mount plate, and it appears as if it was done so larger speakers could be installed.

I have a set of Biketronics speakers already, and the bracket is not in the way, but I wanted to see if removing the bracket would cause any vibration issues....

You remove the stock bracket to install the Hogtunes 2nd amp bracket. It acts as the brace. If this Hawgwired does the same thing, by acting as the brace too, then you remove the stock piece.
