RE: dealer slow
Bikerdog,
I did my own 5000 mile service to my bike this past weekend. Leave it at the stealer--no way. Besides, this way I have peace of mind knowing that everything was done according to the service manual. As far as the handlebars it probably would not have been to major of an upgrade to do yourself. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this site willing to guide you through it. Remember that when you get ready to do your next upgrade. It will save you lots of money that you can spend on more upgrades. Plus, you'll have the satisfaction and sense of accomplishmentofhaving doneit yourself.

RE: dealer slow
See my post on cables ...
When my dealer told me my cables were back ordered, I was told I would have them end of may. When may ended I was told middle of June. When June ended, it was middle of July ... because of course it was backordered.
I hope you have better luck than me.
